Debenvale Kitchens — Installation Photography
A multi-location commercial photography commission for a kitchen and installation company — capturing kitchens, utility rooms, media walls and cloakrooms across Essex and Suffolk for use across web and marketing.

The situation
Debenvale Kitchens build beautiful things. The cabinetry is well made, the spaces are well planned, and the finishes are properly high-end. But a kitchen that nobody can see doesn’t sell anything. Before a customer ever walks through a door, the photography has to do the talking — and Debenvale needed images that matched the quality of the work itself.
Their installations span Essex and Suffolk and cover more than just kitchens: full renovations, utility rooms, media walls and cloakrooms. Rooms that look ordinary in most photos, and brilliant when shot properly.
What we did
Multi-location photography
We shot across several sites in two counties, planning each visit around property access and the natural light in each room. Some spaces were big, open kitchen-diners. Others were compact cloakrooms. Each one got the same attention rather than a single formula stamped on every room.
Detail and lifestyle shots
We balanced the ambient light with extra flash where a room needed it, then chose compositions that showed each space as it actually feels to stand in — not stretched wide to look bigger than it is. Alongside the wider interior shots, we captured the close detail: the joinery, the finishes, the craftsmanship that justifies the cost of a kitchen like this.
Joint project coverage
Part of the work overlapped with KLH Architects and Windows Etc. We captured the windows and architectural features that sit alongside the kitchens, so the images told a fuller story across the whole portfolio rather than treating each trade in isolation.
The result
Debenvale walked away with a full image library from a single, efficient commission — no return visits, no gaps. The shots covered every space type, edited to one consistent standard and delivered in both web-optimised and full-resolution versions. They went straight onto the website and across social, ready to use the moment they landed.
For a craft trade in a visual market, photography that does the craftsmanship justice isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s the thing that gets the phone ringing.
