Brand Identity, Website & Digital Marketing
A complete brand and digital presence for an independent film production company — creating a professional identity and website that allowed Ashbourne Films to compete for commercial and corporate film contracts alongside much larger studios.

The Challenge
Ashbourne Films produces high-quality video and film content for corporate clients, brands and the independent film market. The quality of their production work is genuinely excellent — but their digital presence was inconsistent and didn’t communicate the level of work they were capable of delivering.
In the commercial film market, clients making significant investments in video content make decisions based heavily on how a production company presents itself. A generic website, an inconsistent brand and a thin social media presence all signal a business that isn’t ready for large-scale work, regardless of the actual quality of the portfolio.
The brief was for a brand identity and website that positioned Ashbourne Films as a serious, professional production company capable of delivering work at a corporate and commercial scale.
Our Approach
We began with brand strategy — understanding the target client base, the specific types of work Ashbourne wanted to be known for, and how to differentiate from both freelance videographers at one end and large production houses at the other.
The identity we developed is clean, cinematic and authoritative. A typographic wordmark with a subtle filmic reference, a black-and-gold palette that reads as premium, and a visual language drawn from the aesthetics of film and cinema. It works in print and digital, at business card scale and at banner scale.
The website was built around the portfolio, with the showreel positioned as the hero element — getting visitors into the work immediately. A clean, fast-loading Astro build ensured the video content loaded quickly and played reliably. Case study pages for key projects gave potential clients the context they needed to understand both the production process and the results achieved.
We integrated a digital marketing strategy from the outset — a LinkedIn content plan, targeted SEO for commercial video production search terms in Essex and London, and Google Business Profile optimisation.
The Solution
The delivered brand system and website gave Ashbourne Films a complete professional presence. The brand applied consistently across the website, business cards, email signature, LinkedIn and YouTube channel immediately elevated how the business appeared to potential clients.
Outcome
The results came quickly. A major corporate client made contact within three months of the website launch, directly citing the website as the reason they had chosen to enquire with Ashbourne rather than a competitor. The LinkedIn audience grew by 200% in the six months following launch as the consistent brand and regular content attracted a relevant following.
For creative businesses where the work is excellent but the marketing is lagging behind, a proper brand and website are frequently the fastest path to the clients and contracts they deserve.
