Logical Lawns — Brand Strategy & Visual Identity

The situation
James Brett had built a lawn care business with a clear point of difference: it puts sustainability first. The trouble was that nobody could see it. In a crowded market near Colchester, one green logo looks much like the next, and James was being judged on price alongside firms that didn’t share his values.
He didn’t need a quick logo. He needed a brand that said “the environmentally conscious choice” before he’d opened his mouth — and customers who’d choose him for exactly that reason.
What we did
Brand strategy
We started with the thinking, not the design. Through a deep dive into the business, we worked out who Logical Lawns is really for and what makes it different. That gave us a clear position — the sustainable, knowledgeable option — and a brand strategy that everything else could hang off.
Visual identity and logo
From the strategy came a visual identity that looks the part: earthy greens and natural tones, clean modern type, and a logo that feels grown rather than manufactured. Professional enough for commercial clients, warm enough for homeowners. We pulled it all together into brand guidelines so it stays consistent wherever it shows up.
Marketing materials
Then we put the brand to work. Business cards and brochures for face-to-face, and digital ads ready to run across Colchester and the wider area — all of it pulling in the same direction, all of it unmistakably Logical Lawns.
The result
James finally had a brand that matched the business in his head. As he put it, we understood what he was trying to say even when he couldn’t word it himself. With a consistent identity across every touchpoint, Logical Lawns now reads as the considered, sustainable choice — and stands out from the green-logo crowd.
